About The Position

Store Associates deliver Lidl’s customer shopping experience and participate in many aspects of store operations, including stocking, cleaning, bakery operations, non-food merchandising, and more. Successful associates work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remain open to different ways of doing business, communicate and receive feedback, and are passionate about providing high-quality, low-price, hassle-free shopping.

The role involves unpacking deliveries, assisting customers throughout the store, maintaining cleanliness and organization, learning tasks in the bakery and produce areas, and helping set up weekly promotions. Associates communicate with management and colleagues to complete tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift, move, carry, or slide products weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Ability to reach above the head to heights greater than 10 inches.
• Flexibility to start an early shift at 5 a.m. or finish a late shift at 11 p.m., including weekends.
• Positive attitude when priorities change.
• Friendly communication style with team members and customers.
• Motivation to work hard in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unpack stock as deliveries arrive while maintaining a quick pace.
• Provide excellent customer service at registers and throughout the store, including answering questions and helping customers locate items.
• Keep the store clean and organized throughout the shift, including the parking lot, sales floor, breakroom, and warehouse.
• Learn and complete tasks in the bakery and produce areas and help with weekly promotional setups.
• Communicate clearly with management and colleagues to complete tasks and contribute as a team player.
