About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily store operations, delivering a fast, customer-focused shopping experience. This is a dynamic, team-based role that involves transitioning among checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional setups during a shift. Associates work at a high pace, follow structured processes and efficiency standards, and help ensure smooth store operations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 pounds and frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Transition among checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and other store areas to meet operational needs.
Work toward productivity goals and follow store processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Conduct freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and uphold quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Answer customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to help maintain accurate inventory and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
