About The Position

The Store Associate works in a customer-focused retail setting, both independently and as part of a team, to support customers’ needs and contribute to CVS Health’s healthcare mission. The position provides customer service, handles transactions, maintains store merchandise and inventory, supports store operations, and may assist pharmacy personnel. This is a part-time position with an anticipated 29 hours per week. The typical pay range is $15.00–$22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Able to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Able to lift and exert up to 35 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and negligible force regularly, including overhead lifting.
• Close visual acuity to view a computer terminal, read, and inspect small parts or details.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate customer needs, provide compassionate and attentive service, and identify and resolve potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and help customers locate items when needed.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
• Support all departments, including photo and beauty, by helping ensure they are stocked and operational and staying current with services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as an opportunity for growth and career development.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs that support customers’ health.
