About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily Lidl store operations in a structured, team-based environment. The role moves among checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional displays according to store needs, while following efficiency standards and operational procedures. Associates provide customer service, maintain product freshness and presentation, keep store areas clean, support inventory control, and help ensure safe, smooth operations across shifts.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 pounds and frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Transition among checkout, stocking, bakery, and produce tasks to meet store needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow streamlined processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Conduct daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, ensuring presentation, signage, and pricing are accurate.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Handle customer inquiries and returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to help maintain accurate inventory and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to help ensure a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
