About The Position

Store Associates support daily store operations and deliver a fast, customer-focused shopping experience. This dynamic, team-based role involves moving between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional displays as store needs change. Associates work to meet productivity standards, follow Lidl’s operational processes, and help maintain store quality, cleanliness, inventory accuracy, and safety.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
• Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 lbs.
• Ability to reach above head height (10+ inches) frequently.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
• Move between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and other areas to meet store needs.
• Meet productivity goals and follow operational processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
• Conduct freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
• Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including signage and pricing.
• Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
• Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price lookup codes (PLUs).
• Handle customer inquiries and returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
• Follow inventory control measures to support inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
• Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
• Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
