About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily Lidl store operations in a dynamic, team-based role. They deliver friendly, efficient customer service while moving among checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional setup tasks according to store needs. The role follows structured processes and efficiency standards, including pallet-to-shelf stocking, freshness and quality checks, and inventory controls. Associates help maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented store and collaborate with the team to complete daily work and support smooth operations between shifts.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 pounds and frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Move between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and other store areas to meet operational needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Check freshness in produce and chilled areas and ensure products meet quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including using memorized produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Answer customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to support inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth store operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
