About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily Lidl store operations in a fast-paced, structured, team-based environment. They move among checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional setup tasks according to store needs, while delivering friendly customer service and meeting operational and productivity standards. The role also involves maintaining product freshness, store cleanliness, accurate inventory, and a safe environment.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 pounds.
Ability to reach above head height (10+ inches) frequently.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Transition between checkout, stocking, bakery, and produce duties to meet store needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Conduct freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers with accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Answer customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to support inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to help maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
