About The Position

The Storage Facility Housekeeper keeps the U-Haul facility clean and inviting to support exceptional customer service. The role includes cleaning storage units and shared areas, disposing of trash, and monitoring cleaning supply inventory. The work environment may involve moderate risks or discomforts, including moving machinery, fumes, and irritant chemicals, and may require protective clothing or gear. The job also involves physical exertion, including extended periods standing or moving, reaching to different heights, and moving equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. U-Haul states that it will not hire or re-hire nicotine product users in Texas and certain other listed states.

Responsibilities

Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
Dispose of trash.
Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
