About The Position

Facility Housekeepers help provide U-Haul’s customer service by keeping the facility clean and inviting. The role involves cleaning storage units and common areas, disposing of trash, and maintaining cleaning supply inventory. The work may involve moderate risks or discomforts, including working around moving machinery, fumes, or irritant chemicals, and may require protective clothing or equipment. Physical activity includes remaining stationary for extended periods, moving around outdoors, reaching objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. U-Haul will not hire or re-hire nicotine-product users in certain states, including Missouri only if listed; Missouri is not listed among those states.

Responsibilities

Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
Dispose of trash.
Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
