Storage Facility Housekeeper
About The Position
Facility Housekeepers help provide U-Haul’s exceptional service by keeping its facility clean and inviting. The role involves cleaning storage units and shared areas, disposing of trash, and managing cleaning supply inventory. The work may involve moderate risks or discomforts, including moving machinery, fumes, and irritant chemicals, and may require protective clothing or equipment. It also requires physical activity, including standing for extended periods, moving around outdoors, reaching at different heights, and moving equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
Requirements
- Organization skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Self-starter.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
- Dispose of trash.
- Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
