About The Position

The Storage Facility Housekeeper helps keep the U-Haul facility clean and inviting. The role involves cleaning storage units and shared areas, disposing of trash, and maintaining cleaning-supply inventory. It requires organization, initiative, and willingness to learn. The work may involve moderate risks, including moving machinery, fumes, or irritant chemicals, and may require protective gear. Physical demands include extended periods standing or moving, reaching at different heights, and moving equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
• Dispose of trash.
• Maintain and track cleaning-supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
