About The Position

The Storage Facility Housekeeper keeps the U-Haul facility clean and inviting, supporting the company’s customer service. The position involves cleaning storage units and common areas, disposing of trash, and maintaining cleaning supply inventory. The work may involve moderate risks or discomforts and requires safety precautions, including possible protective clothing or gear. Physical activity includes extended periods of standing or remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, reaching at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. In Florida, U-Haul states it will not hire or re-hire individuals who use nicotine products.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
• Dispose of trash.
• Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
