About The Position

Vantor is seeking a Storage Engineer to develop and integrate intelligence capabilities into test and operational environments. The role designs, deploys, and sustains enterprise storage solutions for high-performance computing (HPC), private-cloud platforms, and mission applications. It spans the storage lifecycle, including architecture, capacity planning, deployment, operations, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery, with the goal of keeping storage services available, secure, scalable, and capable of meeting mission performance requirements. The position is part of a multidisciplinary software development and systems administration team that builds and maintains mission applications on self-managed HPC infrastructure in a private-cloud system. The team works across the technology stack, from hardware and infrastructure through platform services and user interfaces, integrating and sustaining capabilities in secure environments. The role works full-time in person in a high-security environment. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI polygraph. Cleared-role employment is contingent upon verification of clearance status. Certain roles may also be subject to U.S. export-control laws requiring U.S.-person status. The base pay range for the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $120,000–$160,000–$176,000 annually. Pay is determined by factors including experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions; other locations may have different ranges.
