About The Position

National Vision is seeking a full-time Stockroom/Warehouse Associate in Salt Lake City to support warehouse operations and inventory management. The role involves printing and checking orders, sorting lenses, matching items to trays, picking frames and lenses, inspecting lenses for defects, researching order failures, and matching invoices to trays. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime on Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with potential production bonuses.

Requirements

• Read and write English proficiently.
• Be detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequently lift, carry, move, or position objects weighing 0–50 pounds.
• Walk, stand, and move about continuously.
• Occasionally squat, bend, and twist the waist and neck.
• Frequently use hands repetitively, including grasping and fine manipulation.
• Reach with hands and arms above and below shoulder level.

Nice To Haves

• Optical or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Print orders from DVI, edit them for errors, sort lenses by material, and match jobs to the correct trays for processing.
• Pick frames and lenses by locating the bin number on the prescription, then scan the barcode on the tray and frame.
• Remove lenses from the manufacturer’s box and place them on the correct side of the tray for processing.
• Pre-inspect lenses for visual imperfections and send defective lenses back to the manufacturer.
• Research order failures.
• Match invoices to trays.
