About The Position

The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for providing support to the Purchasing department by assisting in organizing and maintaining stockroom materials and supplies, by issuing materials to the production department, along with supporting the inventory control procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse/stockroom experience.
  • Excellent, professional customer service skills with vendors and internal/external customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good mathematical aptitude.
  • Good computer skills: Microsoft: Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to learn new skills and tasks as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds maximum and stand/walk throughout the day.
  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • May be required to operate a forklift as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide materials/supplies according travelers/requisition form.
  • Issue MRO and Stock Consumables.
  • MRO and Stock Consumable inventory control.
  • Replenish supplies.
  • Maintain safety and security of all materials, tools, supplies, etc. in stockroom.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials/supplies and distribute/stock accordingly.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory levels.
  • Enter/update inventory on purchasing software (ProCim) and/or excel spreadsheet.
  • Perform daily clerical functions: filing, copying, data entry etc.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, and vendors.
  • May be required to operate a forklift as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
