About The Position

Store team members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. Although the role primarily focuses on merchandising, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, the position is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal role expected to last no longer than six months. Team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The role may include fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned. Delivery duties apply as an essential job function only if delivery is added to the role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One to three years of experience; at least one year of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Able to walk, bend repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Able to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Able to climb ladders and repeatedly lift 50 pounds overhead.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, build relationships, and provide product and service information to deliver exceptional, personalized service.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws.
