About The Position

The Stocking / Fulfillment Associate supports store merchandising and online business operations by maximizing product inventory and helping create a positive shopping experience. Team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other duties as needed. This position is referred to internally as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. If delivery is added as an essential job function, the associate may load and deliver orders in accordance with company policies and applicable safety and traffic laws. This is a seasonal position expected to last no longer than six months, with the option to apply for a non-seasonal role. The anticipated pay range is $14.31–$20.03 per hour; actual pay will equal or exceed the applicable local minimum wage and may vary based on relevant factors.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; at least 1 year of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on one's feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally, following company policies and procedures and traffic and safety laws.
