About The Position

The Seasonal Stocking / Fulfillment Associate, referred to internally as a Merchandiser, helps build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations. The role primarily focuses on merchandising, but may also include sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. The associate reports to the store management team. This is a short-term seasonal position lasting no longer than six months; associates may apply for a non-seasonal role. The position may include fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services. If delivery is added as an essential job function, the associate may drive and make deliveries. Work requires standing and moving for extended periods, handling cases and pallets, and may involve outdoor weather exposure.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; 1+ years of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to walk, bend repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours per day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services.
Greet customers, engage with them to build relationships, and inform them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable alcohol-sale laws and regulations and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally while following company policies, procedures, traffic laws, and safety laws.
