About The Position

Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations. The role primarily focuses on merchandising, but may also include sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. The position is referred to internally as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This seasonal role is short term, lasting no longer than six months, with the option to apply for a non-seasonal role.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders; and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; 1 or more years of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, build relationships, and inform them about products and services to deliver exceptional, personalized service.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations regarding alcohol sales and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is added as an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally, following company policies and procedures and traffic and safety laws.
