About The Position

Store Team Members build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. Although merchandising is generally the primary focus, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. This role is referred to internally as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal position expected to last no longer than six months. Seasonal team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The position may include order delivery if delivery is assigned as an essential job function.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders; and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; at least 1 year of experience in a retail setting preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, build relationships, provide personalized service, and inform customers about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
