About The Position

Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations. The role primarily focuses on merchandising, but may also include sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. The position is referred to internally as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal, short-term position lasting no longer than six months; team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The position involves processing, organizing, distributing, pulling, and stocking merchandise; building displays and end caps; placing signage; fulfilling online orders; and supporting in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services. If assigned, the role may include driving and making deliveries. Team members also provide personalized customer service, develop product knowledge through wine, spirits, and beer training, maintain awareness of promotions and loyalty programs, and uphold store safety, cleanliness, and alcohol-sale compliance standards.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; 1 or more years of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Process freight and organize, distribute, pull, and stock inventory.
Build displays and end caps and place signage.
Fulfill orders and support in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services; drive and make deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, build relationships, and provide information about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws.
