About The Position

This position leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. It involves touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction. The role introduces and leads company change efforts, provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicates business objectives to teams effectively. It also models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards, manages customer service initiatives, ensures customer needs are met, and develops action plans to correct deficiencies. The position drives financial performance and sales by reviewing Profit Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. It monitors merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, and develops action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Additionally, it provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset. The role ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. It also involves building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and empowering and developing talent.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
