About The Position

As a Stocking Clerk at Meijer, you help keep the store running smoothly by stocking food and grocery products and preparing shelves for customers. This entry-level position includes a variety of retail tasks involving products, customer service, and merchandising. The role works overnight shifts and involves physical stocking tasks. The listed step pay plan generally starts at $15.00–$16.50, with raises after predetermined hours worked; the actual rate will meet or exceed the legal wage requirement for the job’s location.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
Move products from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
Work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Provide friendly and respectful interactions with customers when needed.
Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
