About The Position
The Stocker is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Duties include processing merchandise for the sales floor, maintaining merchandising and recovery standards, supporting store safety and shrink-reduction programs, and helping customers with purchases and returns. The listed shifts are 12 p.m.–4 p.m. and 4 p.m.–8 p.m. The position is at the TJ Maxx store at 1965 North Canton Center Road, Canton, Michigan. Starting pay is $14.25–$14.75 per hour; actual pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
