About The Position

The Stock Room Clerk is responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, purchasing assistance, and interdepartmental coordination. This role involves maintaining the stockroom, tracking purchase orders, gathering part information, and collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Open PO follow up, track and trace – assist as needed for all Buyers
  • Gather Parts information and create purchase order for Buyer to review and send to suppliers
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area for stockroom, including opening and maintenance of product on shelves and removing and maintaining waste products
  • Interface with co-workers to answer questions or solve problems
  • Work in tandem with management and lead team members
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative processes while collaborating with Corporate Supply Chain Specialist
  • Confer and coordinate activities with other departments when needed
  • Utilize PPE, maintain high level of safety, and communicate in a team environment
  • Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor
