As a Stock Plan Services Associate, you will support the day-to-day operations of Empower's stock plan services platform. You'll process transactions, resolve operational issues, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient service for clients and participants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent financial services experience
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in stock plan services, brokerage operations, or trading support
  • FINRA Series 7 registration and fingerprinting required
  • Experience with stock plan administration, equity trading, or brokerage operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and SharePoint
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Process stock plan transactions including plan setup, participant account reviews, reconciliations, and issue resolution
  • Support equity transactions related to RSU vestings, ESPP events, option exercises, and 10b5-1 instructions
  • Initiate and monitor DWAC and DTC transfers while coordinating with clearing firms to ensure accurate settlement
  • Reconcile trade executions, allocations, and participant accounts across multiple platforms
  • Research and resolve operational, trading, and account-related exceptions
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support stock plan trading activities and operational readiness
  • Support audits, compliance requests, process improvements, and daily service activities to deliver an exceptional client experience
