About The Position

PCSI is looking for a Stock Clerk at Edwards AFB! A Stock Clerk receives, stores, issues, and routes equipment, supplies, materials, tools, merchandise, and other property to the appropriate workshop, storage area, or work location. This position will report to the project manager and is based at Edwards AFB. Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Business/Logistics or a related field required, or the equivalent combination of formal training and related work experience.
  • Proficiency with word-processing and integrated software applications.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and property accountability practices.
  • Ability to receive, inspect, store, issue, and track materials, supplies, equipment, and other property accurately.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply requisitions, invoices, inventory records, technical documents, operating procedures, and related instructions.
  • Ability to use assigned computer systems, software, scanners, and other tools to track inventory and asset information.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage routine work accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to assist and communicate with others as needed and establish effective working relationships.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with CORs regarding Materiel Management functions of the PWS.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
  • Ability to pass criminal, financial, drug, and driving screening.
  • Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
  • Ability to be insured as an authorized driver for the Company.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
  • Must qualify for and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, issue, and route equipment, supplies, materials, tools, merchandise, and other property to the appropriate workshop, storage area, or work location.
  • Maintain accurate stock records for items stored in stockrooms, warehouses, storage yards, and other assigned storage areas.
  • Verify incoming items against requisitions, invoices, and other supporting documents by counting, sorting, weighing, and inspecting materials for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Store items according to storage requirements, work needs, identifying information, material type, site, or other applicable criteria.
  • Fill orders, issue property from stock, distribute materials to shop or production personnel, and maintain accurate records of items issued.
  • Prepare periodic, special, or perpetual inventories and assist with inventory adjustments, stock record updates, and related documentation.
  • Requisition materials and supplies needed to meet operational requirements, including providing data to support requisition upgrades or downgrades.
  • Validate, monitor, coordinate, and track ordered and received items, including due-in-from-maintenance assets, and report requisition status as needed.
  • Process asset status changes, property turn-ins, shipment refusals, damaged or spoiled stock, and location changes in accordance with established procedures.
  • Compile and review reports, listings, inventory adjustments, stock handling equipment usage, and other warehouse-related records.
  • Use assigned hardware, software, systems, and tools to complete warehouse, inventory, and property accountability functions.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting reports, briefings, and related materials.
  • Perform Time Compliance Technical Order functions and aircraft records checks as required.
  • May mark identifying information on articles, make minor adjustments or repairs to stock items, or cut stock to size to fill orders.
  • Perform general housekeeping, support non-routine tasks as directed, and complete other warehousing functions as assigned.
  • May train customers or coworkers, provide proficiency training, and evaluate trainee performance and progress.
