About The Position

At Madewell, the Stock Associate ensures smooth behind-the-scenes store operations. The role is responsible for efficiently receiving and replenishing products on the sales floor, maintaining an organized stock room, promptly packaging customer orders, and assisting with other tasks as required. The Stock Associate helps foster an inclusive, collaborative environment focused on product passion and exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Passionately support the brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments.
• Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while carrying out tasks.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, innovate, and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty.
• Have scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be able to bend, reach, and stretch for product, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).

Responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining an organized stock room.
• Learn and use store shipment systems, and comply with merchandise handling guidelines.
• Receive and replenish products efficiently on the sales floor.
• Package customer orders promptly.
• Maintain presentation standards and act in a manner that aligns with brand values.
• Support the store team in exceeding customer selling and service expectations.
• Assist with various tasks as required.
