Part Time Stock Associate
About The Position
As a Stock Associate at Raymour & Flanigan, you support the lifecycle of customers’ purchases by handling furniture in the stockroom and on the showroom floor. You offload and load furniture trailers, assemble and arrange furniture for display, help customers load purchases into their vehicles, and keep the backroom and sales floor clean and organized. The role requires following safety practices, communicating professionally, working independently and with a team, and routinely handling furniture weighing up to and over 200 pounds. The schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Raymour & Flanigan supports an inclusive, discrimination-free workplace and a drug- and smoke-free work environment. Requirements
- Ability to exhibit professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well independently and with a team.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes up to and in excess of 200 lbs.
- Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan's safety practices.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
