About The Position

The Stock Associate organizes merchandise in the retail stockroom and supports inventory and sales-floor operations. Duties include receiving and unpacking deliveries, inspecting merchandise for damage, tagging items, entering products into inventory, maintaining organized stockroom shelves, and placing merchandise on the sales floor. The role also involves fulfilling and shipping customer orders, processing merchandise returns, and disposing of packaging and trash. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Computer skills to operate inventory control software (NetSuite).
Ability to memorize the store layout and remember where items belong.
Knowledge of health and safety policies to help avoid injuries.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment while meeting deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret paperwork.
Consistent, dependable attendance.
Ability to perform the listed physical activities and handle the described lifting and exertion demands.

Responsibilities

Receive weekly truck deliveries and unpack merchandise.
Inspect items for damage and transfer second-quality products to the returns department.
Print price tags or labels and apply them to merchandise.
Enter items into inventory using RF scan guns and NetSuite.
Keep the stockroom clean and organized.
Replenish the sales floor and assist with floor moves.
Return products left around the store to their appropriate locations.
Pack and ship products to customers using UPS WorldShip.
Fulfill orders using NetSuite.
Dispose of empty boxes, packaging, pallets, and trash.
