About The Position

The Stock Associate is responsible for maximizing the store's sales growth and profitability by maintaining the stockroom and ensuring inventory accuracy. This role involves managing inventory counts, returns, and discrepancies in partnership with the Store Manager and Operations team. The Stock Associate must maintain awareness of inventory both systematically and visually, communicating and adjusting discrepancies in a timely manner. They are expected to arrive on time with a professional presence aligned with the Dôen brand, understand and execute all store operations and policies related to inventory management, and keep the stockroom organized, clean, and user-friendly. Additionally, this role assists with merchandising floor sets, ensures efficient product flow, supports the sales team by locating stock, handles the receiving process, and protects store assets. The Stock Associate also greets customers professionally and supports the sales team in meeting goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a fashion retail stock and inventory environment, luxury retail preferred.
  • Technological competency and computer literacy; experience in Shopify and Netsuite required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and problem solver with a focus on improving processes.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
  • Verbal and written communication with others.
  • Able to lift/carry/move/push/pull objects up to 25lbs minimum including fixtures and product
  • Able to walk, sit and stand for periods of time.
  • Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones.
  • Must be able to access various departments of a given location.
  • Must be able to access various areas of a given location, including off site storage.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize the store's sales growth and profitability by maintaining stockroom and ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Manage monthly and yearly inventory counts.
  • Manage return to warehouse merchandise on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Manage stock discrepancies in partnership with the Store Manager and Operations team.
  • Maintain awareness of inventory systematically and visually, ensuring that discrepancies are communicated and adjusted in a timely manner.
  • Understand and execute all store operations, policies, and procedures in reference to inventory management.
  • Maintain the stock room in an organized, clean, user-friendly manner.
  • Assist and support in execution of monthly merchandising floor sets.
  • Ensure efficiency of product flow within all available stock locations.
  • Assist sales team with locating stock to promote sales.
  • Oversee inventory errors, in partnership with store management.
  • Handle receiving process, including verification of shipment, Netsuite receiving process, and shipment discrepancies.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external communication.
  • Protect store assets and inventory.
  • Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner, and support sales team and check out, as needed.
  • Be able to drive business by maintaining the stock room and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Assist the sales team with meeting and exceeding sales and productivity goals.
