As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. This role is designated for our restaurant, Stir. We have a full-time position available. This role is a A.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and mornings/midday shifts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Minimum 2-year(s) experience as a Restaurant Server
  • Food handling certificate
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding
  • Ability to provide legible communication
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to understand guests' service needs
  • Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time
  • Ability to focus attention on details
  • Ability to suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverages and wines
  • Ability to access and input information into Micros system
  • Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly
  • Ability to perform physical responsibilities, including lifting and transporting items of vary weights, with or without accommodation
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Taking food and beverage orders
  • Retrieving and serving alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables according to Forbes Standards
  • Collecting payments
  • Assisting in the daily cleanliness of the restaurant area
