About The Position

This role is for a Props Designer for the Fall Musical, 'Arsenic and Old Lace' by Joseph Kesselring. The designer will be responsible for fulfilling the artistic vision for props as directed by the production director. Key responsibilities include attending all production meetings, maintaining clear communication with the director, gathering and obtaining all necessary prop pieces, and providing prop support during tech rehearsals and shows. The designer will also be responsible for organizing prop materials on the day of strike.

Requirements

  • Must be able to purchase materials needed for props (reimbursed based on budget).
  • Any additional purchases will need to be approved by the director.
  • Props should be fully prepared by Oct 28, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill the artistic vision for props for the Fall play, 'Arsenic and Old Lace' by Joseph Kesselring, according to the director of the production.
  • Attend all production meetings.
  • Keep consistent communication with the director.
  • Gather and obtain all prop pieces.
  • Be present for necessary prop support during tech rehearsals and shows.
  • Support the organizing of prop materials on our day of strike November 15, 2026.
