About The Position

The Stewardship Writer, within the Communications, Events, Donor Relations and Stewardship department, facilitates impactful stewardship initiatives and correspondence. This role has the primary responsibility for drafting, editing, and advancing presidential and vice presidential acknowledgements. The Stewardship Writer also manages key projects and processes on the Donor Engagement and Stewardship (DES) team, which creates and implements strategies to support donor engagement, fundraising, and stewardship while communicating the impact of philanthropy at MIT.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience in a high-volume and complex organization
• Experience managing projects and improving processes

• Excellent research skills
• Knowledge of stewardship programs in higher education
