About The Position

The Corning Museum of Glass is seeking a Stewardship and Prospect Research Program Manager to lead and grow the Museum’s donor stewardship and prospect research initiatives. This role is ideal for a thoughtful communicator, analytical researcher, and relationship-focused professional who is passionate about creating meaningful donor experiences and advancing mission-driven fundraising efforts. The individual will design and manage comprehensive stewardship programs for individual donors and institutional funders, while also building and leading a best-practice prospect research program that supports the Museum’s growing philanthropy efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in advancement, donor stewardship, prospect research, or related fundraising roles
  • Experience using Raiser’s Edge or a comparable CRM database
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong writing, research, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and manage a comprehensive stewardship program for individual and institutional contributors
  • Lead donor acknowledgment, recognition, reporting, and engagement initiatives
  • Develop impactful stewardship reports demonstrating the outcomes of donor investments
  • Coordinate and manage stewardship events that educate and engage donors
  • Support the development and fulfillment of major gift agreements, endowment gifts, and multi-year pledges
  • Partner with Finance and legal consultants to ensure compliance with gift policies and accounting requirements
  • Maintain donor and sponsor recognition content on cmog.org
  • Draft donor communications including proposals, appeal letters, acknowledgments, and stewardship materials
  • Manage logistics and workflows for cultivation and stewardship events, including invitations, briefings, seating charts, and follow-up communications
  • Build and manage a best-practice prospect research program
  • Conduct research on individuals, foundations, corporations, and government funding agencies
  • Create donor profiles, prospect briefings, and fundraising strategy materials
  • Utilize tools including Raiser’s Edge, iWave, NOZA, Target Analytics, and Foundation Directory Online
  • Support pipeline development by identifying and qualifying new donor prospects
  • Generate reports and analyze fundraising data to support Advancement initiatives
  • Work closely with Advancement, Finance, and Museum leadership teams
  • Support the Museum’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion
  • Participate in project teams and cross-departmental initiatives
  • Contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on impact and innovation
