Requirements

  • Minimum of one-year progressive experience within the Stewards’ Department.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s and all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must be eighteen (21) years of age.
  • Knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of all operations of the Stewards’ Department.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
  • Ability to deliver programs which create a service level of excellence for internal and external guests.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
  • Ability to inspect and maintain all areas for which responsible.
  • Ability to stock and retrieve supplies as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Sacramento at Fire Mountain their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
  • Follows and maintains department objectives, standards, and guidelines to ensure proper operation of department.
  • Assists in ordering and receiving all non-food items within the Food & Beverage Department, ensuring adequate par levels of inventory.
  • Inspects equipment and ensures all equipment is in working order and up to Hard Rock safety and cleanliness standards; authorizes replacement parts for equipment in the food departments.
  • Maintains open lines of communications with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
  • Perform work regularly and predictably.
  • Other duties as assigned.
