About The Position

The Steward properly cleans, stores, and maintains all washable items within a sanitary and safe working environment. This role is crucial for ensuring adequate supplies of clean and sanitary tableware at all times, adhering to health department standards, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position involves handling chemicals safely, completing training requirements, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED preferred.
Experience in and passion for consumer service.
Willingness to learn new skills and be a team player.
An attitude of flexibility and mindfulness about the team approach.
Clean and clear service areas.
Follow proper procedures as disclosed in Standard Operating Procedures as explained to staff.

Responsibilities

Operates dishwashing equipment to ensure adequate supplies of clean and sanitary tableware at all times.
Maintains personal hygiene and sanitation standards as established by Health Department.
Follows proper food storage, handling, and preparation standards.
Adheres to established Ecosure standards.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment through regular floor maintenance, trash removal, proper storage of equipment, and cleaning of the dish area prior to the end of each shift.
Handles and uses chemicals needed to clean and sanitize tableware in a safe manner.
Completes all training requirements.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
