About The Position

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen and food service areas. This position supports food and beverage operations by operating dishwashing equipment, cleaning kitchen facilities, and ensuring all equipment and service ware meet health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in food service, stewarding, kitchen operations, or hospitality preferred.
  • Experience operating dishwashing equipment or working in a commercial kitchen environment is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety practices preferred.
  • Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and food handling standards in accordance with local health regulations.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and food service staff.
  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment following established procedures.
  • Ability to maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment to clean china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and food service equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food and beverage preparation and service areas, including main kitchen, concessions areas, storage rooms, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, floors, and surfaces in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain and organize inventory of small wares, utensils, and kitchen supplies.
  • Assist with the setup, breakdown, and transport of food service equipment and supplies for events.
  • Safely use cleaning chemicals and supplies following proper procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Remove trash, recycling, and waste from kitchen and food service areas.
  • Maintain safe and sanitary working conditions for kitchen and food service staff.
  • Support kitchen and food service teams to ensure efficient operations during events.
  • Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to supervisors.
  • Follow company policies, food safety standards, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
