About The Position

As a Steward, you’ll play one of the most important roles in supporting our full-service restaurant, serving as the go to person for all food, beverage, and supplies. Our Stewards are essential to back of house operations, taking pride and ownership to ensure the right products are always on hand so our teams can focus on what they do best, creating great food and memorable guest experiences. This is an excellent role for anyone looking to grow their restaurant career while being part of a supportive, hospitality driven team.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food service industry experience preferred
  • Experience with inventory, ordering, receiving, or supply management, a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
  • Ability to maintain accuracy with attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized team player
  • Dependable, adaptable, and dedicated with a strong work ethic
  • Passion for hospitality and contributing to a positive workplace culture
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, continuously bend, reach and twist
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary support for all food, beverage, and supply needs
  • Place orders while maintaining accurate documentation and inventory logs
  • Receive and inspect deliveries, verifying order accuracy, weights, and measurements while ensuring items meet quality standards
  • Stock, zone, and organize inventory in designated areas, including dry storage, coolers, and freezers
  • Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
  • Maintain organized storage systems that support kitchen efficiency and accessibility
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Work with speed and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Follow instructions accurately, completing assigned tasks with consistency and attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, fostering positive vendor relations
  • Demonstrate leadership through accountability, problem solving, and upholding standards
  • Multitask and work well under pressure with a positive, patient attitude
