About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Steward to join their team. This role involves maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring an adequate supply of clean dishes, glassware, and silver. The position requires the ability to handle fluctuating workloads, perform banquet setup and breakdown, and adhere to all sanitation and safety standards. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary as the hotel operates seven days a week. Requirements

One year of food service experience is preferred
Ability to work flexible hours

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with dishwashing machinery and equipment
Knowledge of various cleaning supplies to include chemicals

Responsibilities

Washing dishes, pots, and pans
Mopping floors
Cleaning kitchen equipment
Ensuring an adequate supply of clean china, glassware, and silver
Handling fluctuations in work load
Completing up to 100 covers per dishwasher
Performing banquet set up and break down
Delivery of banquet food to functions
Complying with all sanitation standards and health department regulations
Compliance with grooming standards
Proper use of all chemicals in the Stewarding department
Flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand
Following safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Day to day cleaning of kitchen per Health Department regulations
Maintaining professional communication with supervisors
Providing assistance in other job classifications as determined necessary by immediate supervisor
