About The Position

Insure a high quality of service for our external and internal customer with dignity, respect and distinction for his/her co-workers.

Requirements

  • 1 year as Steward supervisor in a large restaurant or hotel with banquet function experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of college preferred.
  • Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Cache Creek Casino Resort in a positive manner.
  • Manage assigned staff throughout daily operations.
  • Insure adherence and enforcement of all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Train staff and maintain all MSDS sheets.
  • Setup all banquet equipment as assigned and attend all BEO meetings.
  • Basic knowledge of dish machines including operation, maintenance and trouble shooting.
  • Maintain dish machines and manage cleaning and de-liming schedules.
  • Insure all Steward areas are maintained to standards.
  • Maintain Back of the House cleaning schedules per shift requirements.
  • Manage all chemical and cleaning supplies as instructed.
  • Daily interaction with all departmental managers providing support when required.
  • Provide daily management all refuse and recycling programs.
  • Maintain and operate silver burnishing machine as required.
  • Manage all superficial and deep cleaning projects as required.
  • Insure all kitchens and outlets possess required operational equipment.
  • Attend meetings as scheduled.
  • Assist Executive Steward and Assistant Steward personnel and administrative issues/duties.
  • Familiarity with all outlets and the Casino Resort in general.
  • Other duties as assigned.
