About The Position
The Sterile Tech is responsible for decontamination, sterilization assembly, and high-level disinfection within the Sterile Processing unit.
Requirements
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or CBSPD certification
- 2 years or more of relevant experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Decontamination of medical instruments and equipment
- Sterilization using Steris Sterilization and Vpro Medivator systems
- Assembly and high-level disinfection of surgical instruments
