About The Position

Surgical technologists prepare the operating room, including the sterile field, and set up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions. During surgery, they pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon and manage surgical equipment. They also manage the sterile field and specimens and perform a count of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign retained objects. Certification is achieved following successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or other approved programs and the national CST examination.

Requirements

• 2+ years of CST experience
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Robotics experience
