About The Position
This role supports the labor and delivery team during vaginal and c-section deliveries. The Surgical Tech will not have direct clinical involvement but will assist the team as needed. The position operates under the supervision of a manager who will determine the work schedule. The role may involve floating to other areas such as the OR to provide assistance or act as a safety sitter.
Requirements
- BLS Certification
- CST Certification via NBSTSA or NCCT
- ND State Licensure
Responsibilities
- Support labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) or obstetric (OB) tech roles.
- Float to other areas as helping hands or safety sitters.
- May float to the OR.
