About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our surgical services team. The role involves ensuring the proper sterilization, decontamination, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Certification: CBSPD, IAHCSMM, or HSPA required
- Must have an active license at the time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- Weekend availability required
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated
Responsibilities
- Sterilize, decontaminate, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards and hospital policies
- Maintain accurate inventory and tracking of sterilized equipment
- Perform quality checks and inspections on equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with surgical teams to meet operational needs
- Maintain documentation of sterilization and decontamination processes
