About The Position
Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California, is hiring a full-time Sterile Processing Technician for 8-hour evening shifts. The role involves cleaning, preparing, and sterilizing instruments, trays, and equipment; operating departmental machinery; receiving, labeling, stocking, and delivering supplies and equipment; operating a computer, answering phones, and filling orders; and cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces and storage areas. Requirements
- Obtain National Certified Registered Central Service Technician certification from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within one year of hire, or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician certification from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within one year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience as an SPD technician.
