About The Position
St Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to join its Central Sterile Processing team. The technician ensures safe handling, care, cleaning, and sterilization procedures are maintained within the department. The role includes inspecting and assembling instruments and maintaining operating room instruments and implantable hardware. This is a part-time evening position with 8-hour shifts, 20 hours per week, and rotating shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification.
- At least 1 year of previous Sterile Processing experience outside of clinical hours for certification.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe handling, care, cleaning, and sterilization procedures are maintained within the department.
- Inspect and assemble instruments.
- Maintain operating room instruments and implantable hardware.
