About The Position

Camp Lowell Surgery Center is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician. The center is an accredited, state-licensed outpatient surgery center with seven operating rooms and provides procedures including eye, joint, urology, and ENT services.

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for surgical instruments and prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of sterile processing experience.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
