Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
About The Position
Tryfacta is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in Dublin, Ohio. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week on the day shift, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and pays $31–$33 per hour. The technician will float between OSU locations as required. The role requires at least three years of sterile processing experience and previous travel experience. Candidates must have strong decontamination, high-level disinfection, instrument assembly, and sterilization skills, as well as experience in a teaching hospital and Level II trauma setting. CBSPD or CRCST/IAHCSMM certification is required.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of sterile processing experience.
- Previous travel experience.
- CBSPD or CRCST/IAHCSMM certification.
- Teaching hospital and Level II trauma experience.
- Experience with high-level disinfection, flexible endoscope reprocessing, and steam/Sterrad sterilization.

- CensiTrac tracking experience.
Responsibilities
- Decontaminate surgical instruments, drills, robotic equipment, and scopes.
- Assemble instrument trays for multiple surgical specialties, including trauma and loaner instruments.
- Perform steam and Sterrad sterilization, high-level disinfection, and scope reprocessing.
- Maintain sterile storage and ensure proper packaging and handling of instruments.
- Track instruments using CensiTrac and coordinate with operating room teams.
- Float between OSU locations as required.
