About The Position

Foundation Surgical Hospital is hiring a PRN Sterile Processing Technician. The hospital has 25 beds, 8 operating rooms, and 3 emergency rooms, and performs outpatient orthopedic and spine surgical procedures. The technician maintains and cares for surgical instruments and prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of sterile processing experience.
• CBSPD or IACHSMM certification required.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
